And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more. ~Dr. Seuss
Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time. ~Laura Ingalls Wilder
At this time of year, we can't help but think of all of our loved ones and friends, near and far. We hope that this holiday finds you happy, healthy and in good spirits.
So from our family to yours, Merry Christmas!

I hate these spammers! If I could figure out how the heck to delete this stuff, I would.
However, a park ranger's life would be interesting to read about...I wonder how many picnic baskets he has to protect?
What happened to the park ranger's comments? I miss them. We once went on a camping trip - "organized" by the Bak family, which meant showing up at a busy campground in central Ontario on the August long weekend without reservations. The front gate people let us in, but told us we would probably not find a site, that we could tent on the open field in the middle and move on the next day. But we found a great site, right beside the river, with a fire pit, picnic tables, and room for 3 tents. Perfect! And then the park ranger came by and told us we were in his back yard.
